Animations:

Would like to be able to change the MS time for several frames to the same (200ms).
How can I select all of them or 70% of them to change to the same MS time, so I don't have to do each separately one by one. Shift key doesn't work for that. (Gimp 2.6)

I have been changing each frame one by one (75 of them), then the time is just a little too fast so I change all of them again one by one. And then again it's too fast so I start all over again... one by one.

I know that you can set all frames to the same MS time when you "save as" but I don't want to save each time just to do that. And if I only want 70% frames changed then that won't help.

Is there a way to do it... or a script for this?

Please and thankyou.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-to ... s/scripts/

and download retime-linked-layers-0.0.py

Requires python support... as name implies, will apply new time to all linked layers.

Oh wow thankyou very much ofnuts ! That script will be soooo useful and help so much. :)

So you wrote it? If so then super thankyou very much for writing it.
I am not using python yet because of the difficulty installing it but may in the future. So I downloaded it for the future.(even though it doesn't show as downloaded. downloaded shows as 0).

If anyone knows of a script-fu of the same thing please let me know. Thankyou.

As far as i know this remains the one and only filter that will change linked layers millisecond times per frame. :)
Python is really not that hard to install. And it is well worth the effort.

Thanks for letting me know Rod it's the only script available. Definitely a good reason to install python.

Python isn't that difficult to install... now of course my scripts are designed for Python-teasing :)

@Bar...If you use this tute for installing Python, you shouldn't have any problems. It is well written and easy to follow, (even for me- :lol .)

That may be true for layers that are linked, but there is a script that will change the delays for layers based on their visibility (and you don't need to install Python).

saulgoode !

OMG that's exactly what I wanted and it works perfectly. You have saved me sooo much time and no more tedious monotonous one-by-one timechange.
Inside the code your name is in it so I am asuming you are the writer of it.
Thankyou very much saulgoode. As in thankyou thankyou thankyou!

molly !
Thanks! Yes it is well written and easy to follow by Rod... but so many steps. Will eventually install python.
