GIMP Version: 2.7.6
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: vista
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

get fonts to work and gimp? i've been using nexus font i think is the name of it, but the problem with that is i have to restart gimp every time i want to install and use a new font and it's getting on my nerves and it's too many font to dump in the windows font folder or the gimp font folder any help would be great thanks

If you open the Fonts dialog ("Window->Dockable Dialogs->Fonts"), you should be able to load the new font -- after placing the file in your GIMP fonts folder -- by clicking on the Refresh button.
