 Post subject: Why can I send a rar file as an attachment and other times not?

Operating System: Linux
OS Version: windows 7 (64-bit) and Ubuntu 11.10 on separate HD-500GB
GIMP Experience: Basic Level



Could someone tell me why I can send a rar file sometimes and other times it says it won't accept the extension "rar" It is frustrating.

Just change the extension to .png or such and then attach. Have them change it once downloaded

I have never done that. Sounds like it might work. I will try it later, I already got the rar posted but I had to change the name.
