GIMP Experience: Beginner Level


i need to make a photo with gimp to enter a contest. but my pic needs to be 300 dpi... how do i make sure my picture that i make is 300dpi...please help me.......i can win a 1000.00 if i win..

Open a new layer, click advanced options, put in 300.00 beside x and y. thats it.
