How does one draw straight or curved lines?
Just a simple line with no wobbles in it to show the trajectory of a ball.

Straight line

with every brush tool (pen, brush, airbrush,..even the eraser) :
activate the tool ,
1 shift+click to set the starting point
2 without left Shift, click where you wish the endpoint, and the line between will be drawn automatically

For curve lines you should better use the path tool (Remember that the path should be stroked to be visible in the exported image)

I found the path tool and am having some fun with paths. Now stroking is another learning curve (pun intended). Thanks for the link - it is appreciated.
