Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have created patterns from the clipboard before but now I don't seem to know what to do. Can anyone help please?

Once you copy your object to the clipboard, check the very first entry on your pattern's dialogue; it will be your copy. Not that the size has to be smaller then 512X512px as I recall or you get clipped. :)

how many ?

you dont make any patterns really, you just paste whats in your clipboard

so, just one until you copy something else to the clipboard

if you want to make your own pattern you must save them as a .pat file in your patterns folder
