GIMP Version: 2.8.2
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: win 7
GIMP Experience: Basic Level


Hi,

I just installed a new version of Gimp (2.8.2) and the parameters of the tools are gone (nothing after one click on the tool icon). I always have to double click on the particular tool then the parameter window pops up but I don´t like it.

What should I do to have the parameters built in the tool menu?

You can open that window permanently with Windows/Dockable dialogs/Tool options. Once open you can drag it to a "dock" if necessary.
