GIMP Version: 2.6.11
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: 7 Pro
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level

I don't usually use my portable gimp but I tried the other day and realized that it won't open or work on anything except XCF files. I'm using 2.8.4 but I tried using 2.7 and neither will open anything except xcf. I might have gotten a corrupt copy of Gimp but I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem.

GMS try removing the user/gimp-2.8 folder and restart gimp.Don't delete it just move it out of the user folder.
