I am trying to change some penguins from yellow, blue red and green. I want to change them to black and I tried desaturation, then tried levels but I only got the black with the blue one. The others just changed to different shades of gray. I have done it before, now I forget what I did. Can some one help?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Esper, I will try that. I am not sure if I tried that one or not, I will post back after I try it.
EDIT: I tried that before and then again but it doesn't work for me. I got the blue one to change but the rest turned either all white or all black and moving the sliders back and forth made the like a patch quilt. It also took or the orange beak and feet.

Maybe,
colors - colorize (Saturation=0; lightness=-100)

I had to run them through colorize to get them as close as I could, then to threshold to tweak some more. They aren't perfect and the yellow one stayed white, or pure black so that one didn't work. hmmmmmm So, I got 4 so-so ones and one yellow one

I have not received anything from you since 1:21pm today but I've been getting other emails and notifications from here, so my email seems to be working fine.

I wondered why I didn't hear back from you. Strange...

Try the :colsel and grow by 1 pixel and go to colorize and turn all the way down to black.
For the yellow if the beak gets selected try to unselect with the :freesel.
