I have an image with 30+ layers, all have a transparent backgrounds. Unfortunately, In the background of each layer are a few stray black pixels in the same area that were overlooked when clearing the background.

If I make a selection of this area, Is there a way to clear this selected area on all layers, without having to clear it individually for each of the 30+ layers of my image?

Did you turn off all the layers, then turn them on one at at time? Some times when that happens to me, the smudge is only on the one layer. Maybe you already said that.

Unfortunately the left over pixels are on all 30+ layers. :(

The name of the script sure does express exactly what I'm trying to accomplish "Delete Selection All Layers".
This should work if it does what it's name sake has intended.
Thanks FP, downloaded the script and soon to be installed. :bigthup

Pretty cool FP. I better make sure I have that script, I probably do and forgot about it,
BTW, in your instrucs, you put your scripts in (C:Program FilesGIMP-2.0sharegimp2.0scripts). I put all mine in /home/molly/.gimp-2.8/scripts. I guess that is OK isn't it?

Yes, your location is actually the better location. I need to go back and change the instructions so people can more easily locate their personal scripts from the ones that come with GIMP.

Thanks FP, I like mine where I put them, cuz I change my Fedora quite often and I have to save everything, scripts, plug-ins and everything else I don't want to lose, each time I do that cuz it wipes out everything when I do a clean install.

The script worked like a charm, even though I already had it installed.
Silly me... :hehe
