It was the gold emap GT posted early on. I used carve or chisel on it. Here it is:

I said chisel or carve, but I ran that font, through bevel reflect with the emap, then used script fu-effects-stepped chisel on it. I used the highlight script for the highlight, using a blue instead of the normal white, to match my background, and gave it a gaussian blur. About it really.

Tutorial isn't necessary. Super easy to do. It's not a mosaic, it's just the way the font is. Here's the font: http://www.dafont.com/hotsweat.font

Run it through bevel reflect logo, and 3d it. Add shadows. That's it.

The Warrior: Ok, so new question. What E-Map was used for that coloring effect?

I used a alpha pattern to cut the text - this one
Image

First i used the pattern to cut the text, moved one layer 3 pixels any direction works
merged the two layers into one
Then i ran bevel reflect on the merged layer.
