Well you will not find on the registry, not even on gimpscript or discussed on gimptalk or here
Are a series of python script i found on the meetthegimp forum http://forum.meetthegimp.org/index.php/board,12.0.html

One of the contributors is rayadagio http://www.rayadagio.de/manufacture.html

with

Colour Negative Inverter
:Because of the more or less orange material of analogue colour films it is not very easy to invert digital copies of these films. Manual correction of the orange colour cast may be very difficult. This script performs an automatic colour correction and inversion.

2) Digital Graduated Filters

This script simulates graduated gray filters (GND) and graduated coloured filters. Two differently exposed images of the same subject can be combined to get a well exposed image with a soft gradient. Some options are included to control intensity and colour of the gradient.

3) Automatic Creation of Selections and Layer Masks - The Range Selection Script
The Range Selection Script is a tool for easy and automatic creation of selections and layer masks. The selections or masks include all parts of the image that are situated within a defined range of tonal values, colours, saturation or edges. Selections can be based on one of 16 channels.

4) Another Way of Rotation - The Straighten & Crop Script

The GIMP rotation tool is quite good. But I think straightening an image could be done even a little bit easier. I like the way it is done by my former image processing program more than working with the grid of the GIMP rotation tool. So I tried to imitate it by a script. Now you just have to place two mark points on a line that should be exactly horizontal or vertical after rotation and to run the script.

again all those are on http://www.rayadagio.de/manufacture.html

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of same author but for less specialist use Frame Factory , but have a look yourself to the examples
http://rayadagio.de/framefactory.html

But are even more from others authors hanging on in the meetthegimp forum
for all plugin listed below the link is
http://rayadagio.de/?page_id=26 (SCROLL DOWN and look at right)

CA correction with Hugin
clipping detector
colour negative inverter
dramatic script
dri tool
easy zone adjustment
fading colourisation
octave sharpening
resizing with ImageMagick
selective brightness
selector

Most were discussed on the Meetthegimp forum too (link on top)

Thank You!
Fell instantly in love with Selector, the advancement of range selection plug-in.

downloaded and installed most of them, but for 3 of them I didn't succeed:
- DRITool
- SelectiveBrightness
- Selector
They show up in the menu but crash without a specific issue.
My env is Win 7 32 bits, gimp 2.8.10
I applied already all suggestions found here and here (concerning UFRaw for DRITool, dll for the others).
May I know whether someone did run those on an environment similar to mine?
Nidhogg, I read you succeeded using Selector, which is your environment?
Thanks

There is a link in the Rayadagio Selector page to the meetthegimp post, read the installation instructions there.
Apparently on windows You also need to download and install libglade-2.0.0.dll to windows/system32.

Thanks Nidhogg, I did it.
As you probably know, Glade is required also by IndexPrint (and LineBorder 2), see Gimp Plugin Registry ("-add glade Gimp-2.8_32bit.zip (needed also for Lineborder 2)").
Those two plug-ins work fine.
Maybe there is a conflict with libglade-2.00.dll inserted under Windows/System32, as indicated by the MeetTheGimp forum, I don't know.
Anyhow, those 3 MeetTheGimp plug-ins mentioned previously in this post, do not work in my environment, both if I leave only the Glade set (under Gimp) required by IndexPrint and LineBorder2, and if I add also libglade-2.0-0 under Windows/System32.

@Dinasset

I hope it get solved , i like much 2 of the 3 (selector and selective brightness) i will try to reinstall them later ,maybe i will found some clue

Often clone of Dll in system or system32 are see by gimp as errors as where no any dll

Most 64bit gimp version have a 32bit folder, you may try to move there the group of plugins depending from glade AND the glade dll
Well you don't even strictly need to use the 32bit folder, just a dedicated folder with all them and the dll should work

If this don't fix i may only suggest to contact Rayadagio, or on the Meetthegimp forum or using the contact form on his page

BTW if you do add the link to this post ,just i case he wish reply here too

At soon i get them working i will let you know
if i succeed ,if i don't i will try to contact rayadagio

Thanks PC for the indications.
No, also moving those 3 plug-ins (requiring glade) in a folder together with libglade-2.0-0.dll (obviously this was removed from Windows/System32), no success.
About the "selective brightness", luckely there is another version of the same author which seems not make use of Glade, and it works: curious that the single python version is called v2 but is dated 2009, while the double python+gui version is called v1 but is dated 2010.
I wait upon your tests.

I like the selector python module as it has a preview of the resulting selection. This would be the best kind of selection plugin as you could adjust on the fly and view the results immediately before execution. BUT sadly i can't get that one to work. Maybe Ofnuts or Kevin can take a look at them and suggest some code changes?
I do have Line Border working with Glade so that isn't the problem.
Perhaps these were made for GIMP-2.6?

Photocomix? Ofnuts? Kevin?
no news about having those python filters running under Windows with Gimp 2.8?
When I read that always Rod has trouble, I was feeling not alone and hoping on some tests by gurus on python...

I´m not sure if anyone still needs this information.
I used the Selector under Linux Mint originally where it ran (of course) without a problem.
This is how I got it running under Win7 64-bit.

Gimp 2.8.10 installed in default C:/Program Files/GIMP2
selector.gui & Selector.py put in User/.gimp-2.8/plugins
libglade-2.0-0.dll in C:/Program Files/GIMP2/32/bin.

The libglade binary is from gnome.org. Version 2.6.0 windows 32, created 2006-08-11, size 104kb unzippped.

Don´t know if this has anything to do it, but I had Gimp 2.6.12 installed earlier using the separate python install method.
Those python 2.6.6 and PyGTK 2.24 are still installed.

I'm still interested.
But Selector still doesn't work.
The difference with what you indicated is:
- in a 32-bits computer the gimp bin is placed directly under gimp, i.e. C:/Program Files/GIMP2/bin, so my libglade-2.0-0 is there
- my libglade is 82kb
Maybe, as an extreme trial, you can put here your 104kb version, who knows...
Anyhow, thanks a lot

http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/binaries ... glade/2.6/

That is the libglade I´m using, the uppermost zip. Rename your original to .bak or move it somewhere else while You test.
Any luck?

As for me (Vista 32bit, Gimp 2.8.10) it works fine (for both versions of libglade-2.0-0.dll in the folder C: \ Program Files \ GIMP 2 \ bin \) - so I guess it's not the file is a problem.
It is possible that it is a missing library Python (my version is Python 2.7.5 in full installation).
Do you have an error message when paste in Python console:

import pygtk
import gtk
import gtk.glade
import colorsys
import os
import gimp, gimpplugin
from gimpenums import *
import sys
pdb = gimp.pdb
