This version adds the option to colour text with colours sampled from the currently selected gradient in the filter dialog.

The relevant options for the new feature are high-lighted in this screen-shot of the filter dialog:
Click on the 'Gradient for text colours:' tool and select the gradient you wish to use for your coloured text.
Click on 'Colour text from current gradient:' to set the option to 'Yes', and you're ready to go.

This option takes precedence over the 'Shade colour along text:' option if both are set to 'Yes'.
The option will apply the colours in a slightly different way when the 'Change size with words:' option is set to 'Yes'.
In this case it will restrict the number of colours used to the number of words in the entered text: As in the simple example below:
