Here we are.
After many
provando e riprovando I feel comfortable in releasing my last "creature" concerning the simulation of watercolour paintings.
You have seen during the last months my many posts showing the various experiments on the various types of source images.
If you like them, you may now experiment yourself my filter(s).
This is the MAIN filter, the one which produces the outcomes.
...and this is the FRONT-END filter to easily start the creation with all bits and bytes depernding on the source image type.
You may read this tutorial. you know I'm not an expert in writing tutorials, but I hope to have been clear enough in introducing you to the use of the filter(s).
In the next pages the resources needed (patterns).

Here the various types of patterns used by the filter(s).
As for many other of my filters, they are referred to by
parameters, hence you may use these prepared by me or create and link your own.

Where do the presets go? They are all .txt files
Wed May 13, 2020 12:29 am
Place the provided folder MyPresets (which includes all .txt presets) on Desktop, to start.
If later on you want to change this location, look at the dialog I had with Nidhogg.

Where would the dialogue be, what do the presets do since they are txt files and how do we call them up in gimp?

Start the front-end program AquarellePlusPlus2Preset.
It will "read", "understand" and "apply" the appropriate .txt preset file for the image type.

I would like to change the location of the My Presets folder. How can I do that? The filter works great.
