I have been playing with one of my old scripts - uncrop-side.py. I wrote this mainly to learn something about Python programming, but have used it on a few occasions.
The results were better on some subjects and not very good on others. So I have added adjustments for the variables it passes to the resynthesizer. Finding the right combination of these settings is not easy, but can improve the outcome.
I would like to find a way of "feathering" the transition between the original and the resynthesized part, but as yet have not been able to find an elegant solution.
My latest version is attached.
