Is there an updated version of the plugin Smart Remove Selection? I ask because resynthesizer doesn't work when trying to run the plugin.

Horrible suspicion that "Smart" refers to the old smart-removal.scm script, which scrambles the selection as:

Use the python plugin plugin-heal-selection.py

Where to get it:
https://github.com/bootchk/resynthesize ... ginScripts...and if you have difficulties with that, I bundled it with resynthesizer here:

I didn't see the download link for the heal-selection plugin in the first link, so I'm off to try the second link.

You need to re-start GIMP or you had a duplicate.

You're right, I had a duplicate, which I have now deleted. I then re started gimp and the script is still there.

If you have the plugin "addonCollectionManager-3.0.py" you have to delete it from both scripts folders:
"scripts", "scripts_storage". Otherwise it will still show

I deleted the script but it's still there. I had it in "scripts", "scripts smart folder", Program Files "scripts"& "scripts storage (smart folder)"
Here are the places where I had the script:

It's still in gimp:

Mackenzie, do this:
Take the folder "smart", create a copy on your desktop and delete the folder. I think the two scms in the folder are linked to the smart_remove.scm.

Pocholo, I found the script again. It was in Program Files, I just overlooked it. I deleted the file. It's all good now.
