Found another scm file that still works fine in Gimp 2.10.22. Nice result, I think!

Easy to do with bumpmap, no need for script. I try to keep my scripts to a minimum.

You are right ... but I think the result is different

I think fuzzy select the black, convert to path, stroke path then adjust according to taste.
