Ulead Plugins

Is there a way Ulead Plugins can be used in GIMP? They are 16 bit. i can not seem to get them to work in any software other than infranview which has no layer support. Some where I read awhile back adding some dll files will make them work in GIMP. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Thanks, MareroQ! I have Diego's plugin, just not the Ulead one because it forces its users to put down a company name and it's not free.
