Just noticed today whatever layer effect I put in my GIMP plug ins (it was a .py), the blend modes as well as other features are not working. Can some one recommend the best layer effects for this version and possibly post it or post the link from the GIMP scrips repository wayback machine,Thank you,

This one works for both 2.8 and 2.10
