I would love to use pack sprites in G'mic...but it keeps crashing.I followed the video tutorial on Youtube.Would anyone like to test it?

Been a while; tried packed spites with base layer mask and it never finishes after a long time (use to be quite fast as I recall). Might be a bug. Will post at PixLS's site to see if it may have degraded. I'll post a link to that thread once I do.

OK; posted a thread at PixLS's G'MIC forum. Below's that link.

Thank you for passing on the question... we're waiting!

David fixed the issue (see PixLS link per previous post for details; Gotta thank David); just refresh your presets, Jappaloe63. If that doesn't work, make sure you have the latest version of G'MIC.

Saw your shells result while at work, earlier. Looks great.

I pretty much stick to these settings

It is very picky for parameters, try
Increase Number of Scales to about 10 or 12
Reduce Minimal scale (%) to about 10
Spacing is important, reduce to (minus) -3 or -4
Masking use mask as bottom layer
Input all layers
Output New Image

I use a true b/w mask (no gray levels; black being what you want filled) Issabella.
