GEGL Text Style Collection - plugin with many fancy text styles

This plugin renders 26 total text styles and 13 that could be considered "unique filters" however a major trade off exist as all of them have very limited editable properties.

Then Restart Gimp go to GEGL operations and look for Misc Bevel Collection. On Gimp 2.99.16+ you will see this in filters>text styling>misc bevel collection.

Remember all of these filters have very limited editability (not many sliders). If any of you guys like a particular plugin in this collection just ask me and I'll turn it from a limited plugin into a full plugin with many editable sliders.

Misc Text Style Collection plugin updated with a new cake text style that has pink bread. Also the preview of the plugin is in CMYK Student's special Gimp build where the text is editable. The text will NOT be editable in normal Gimp 2.10/2.99



This is the first GEGL plugin update of 2024.

A new text style was added in "Text Style Collection unsorted" named fuzz. You will find it inside the plugin "Text Style Collection" under (unsorted)

It has three modes "hard light, grain merge and overlay"

Syntax to recreate style is here. Requires plugins of mine (custom bevel, threshold alpha 2, inner glow and edge smooth)
These plugins do ship with misc text style collection.

when updating my plugins in early march to comply with gegl_connect and CMYK student I accidentally used an old version of this plugin. Said old version was updated to use node_connect and lb: everywhere but it left out fuzzy text and lava type text. I going to add them back then link the download on Github.

Put simply... I accidentally downgraded my own plugin on Github and removed text styles. Now I will fix it.

THEN RESTART GIMP AND GO TO "GEGL OPERATION" and look for Text Styling Collection. If you are on 2.99.16+ search for it.

2.99.16+ also has it in the menus in filters>text styling>misc text styling collection

I didn't underline inner glow because in 2.99.19 inner glow is officially built into Gimp.
