My filters of the year 2024: 1) Free Drawing Rel.2 Ready

Glad to announce rel.2 (see below)

Glad to release my first "filter of the year 2024"
During this year I will try to post various filters, either completely new or as a reshuffling of old existing code.
As usual I benefit from the support of my co-teamer Issabella, for the tests (before publishing it) and for the presentation of the various possible outcomes (after publishing it).
Sometimes they have also been created on the basis of ideas by Issabella.
Thanks a lot my precious friend.

This filter gives to the user the possibility to apply to an image a drawing look, using G'mic fiters.
The user can choose among many options (see next post).

Today version 1.2.0 is released.
What's new:
- possibility for the user to choose the layer mode for the Sketch layer (fixed at GrainMerge in 1.1.0).
- new optional layer Original on Top to enrich the versatility of outcome look.

A little help for those who downloaded the filter and admire the outcomes created by my "magic" co-teamer Issabella:
if you check the name of the outcome, you find the reference to the options of the filter which have been used, for instance

the values (True,6,8,3,2) mean that she chose:
- to apply Equalize (True)
- to use "Crayon Graffiti" for Contours (6)
- to use "Gimp Posterize" for Poster (8)
- to use "Darken Only" for Sketch (3)
- to use "Hsl Color" for Original on Top (2)

I'm glad you are still doing these filters dinasset and the testing Issabella.

I think the filters use gmic and that changes quite a bit (mostly for the good) but they last a long time.

as you can see, there is the possibility to:
- choose the layer mode for the Sketch layer
- add on top a copy of the Original and choose the layer mode
