New scripts hard to find in the plugin registry

Sun Dec 16, 2012 1:56 pm

The gimp plugin registry is becoming less and less readable

All those new scripts are very hard to find there because they do not appear where they should in the starting page

Better complain on the registry itself (but I doubt it will have much more effect than complaining here).

I still go to the Gimp registry sometime usual just for research. I normally get scripts through here and author sites. How does Gimp Scripts fit in with the big picture could it become the go to Gimp script web site for users? Is there a central repository for authors like, sourceforge, code.google, github, etc?

Already done several times , without any results (not even a reply)

Anyway this was not a post to complain but to give the links of the new scripts added to the registry that for some reasons are not visible , even if are there (to find them you need to already know their links  )

They aren't new scripts. The dates on them are the year 2008.

I subscribe to Watch that Page for the Registry and I get notifications if something has changed. On older stuff, it may just be a comment someone added or an update, so not every time a notification comes up is it a new script.

Yeah; the Registry took a turn to the wack-a-doodle and has yet to recover from the Joker's poison. Madness. Oh well. :)
