Does the plugin sospbubbles2.10.scm work in gimp 2.10 windows 64 bit? If it does, is it possible to get the fixed version?

see my posts #8-9
on samj's portable pack 2.10.14 64bits I had to copy the plug-in map-object from 2.10.12, then it worked.

I saw your posts. Problem for me is, I don't have the portable pack. I never did. I also don't have gimp 2.10.12. Since you fixed it for Windows users, is it possible to attach it to one of your posts?

You can download the one posted by MareroQ, then if you find my same error on map-object I can post the one I moved onto 2.10.14 to get it working (but maybe MareroQ's post works on your PC without that change, hence verify beforehand)

I will download and test it out and see if it produces the same error you received.

OK.
Because I do not know whether I'm still awake when you've done your tests (you live in California, I live in Italy), I post here:
1.the plug-in map-object which solved that my problem
and
2.the script where I modified just one value in one line to run properly for me
Good luck!

I still get this error when running Marero's version:

How about now? I fixed NORMAL hopefully in the one MareroQ uploaded.

Going to try your modified version now.

I tried it and I still got the error. Not sure where the problem is coming from because map object works with no problems on its own.

Yeah, I tried the original on 2.8 installation and the result is way more nicer.

I was hoping the plugin would work for 2.10 windows 64 bit.

The brushes are nice, but the plugin still fails to produce a result of a bubble when using it in GIMP 2.10.14 Windows 64 Bit

@mackenziehThe error eval: unbound variable: NORMAL is related to the name of the layer mode.
This has been fixed for 2.10 - The name NORMAL does not appear in new version (only in old).
The conclusion is that you have two versions - you need to find and remove the old version.
@NidhoggCongratulations on finding a plug-in-illusion bug (and it has always been there - probably because its impact is barely noticeable).
For me, the result for Gimp 2.10.14 (64bit from gimp.org) and Gimp 2.8.22 is 100% identical.

Love the bubbles and like it when they make comebacks.

try this one
soapscripts-SoapBubble2.10.scm.7z
I tested it and it works. Turns out I had the 2.6 version still in gimp, just in another folder, which I have deleted. Your version works. Thanks, Dinasset.

I'm really very glad !
Greetings to California, I've been there for some weeks (on business) many years ago.
