Issabella,I too find it difficult to place the starting point of the rays.

I tried today to set the starting setting points for the rays and I didn't have any difficulty. It was yesterday that I was unable to set them. Anyway it works alright and no problem at all.
Level, to set X and Y values, only you have to put your mouse point just on the center of the lightest zone on the pic. Look at the bottom left of your screen and you get both values the first one is for X after the comma, the second value is for Y.

For those who are interested in this nice effect, the values can be placed in negative values. I mean, one can set -66 value for X and 464 value for Y. (like on this pic, the sun is out of the borders)
