GnuTux and Saulgoode created an engine to make Bitmap Images, I have used this to create a script, under GnuTux's Guidance.
The script is similiar to the Bling animation script except no pattern files are needed.
There is still some work to do before the actual script is released, i.e. more bitmap files and a little fine tuning by GnuTux and myself.

With Update1 new Settings 'Min Pulse Value' has been Added to assist you with these setting
remember the 'Min Pulse Opacity'= Min Pulse Value/2.55

Menu Location is Script-Fu/Effects

Beta Release Update1: now includes a minimum 'Pulse Value'

Thank you 'O' for trying the script, the final Rel version I'm still working on
this Beta release is very good though
The script needs only an image with a selection or Transparent background else it will apply itself to the entire image

Graechan when i try and add sparkles to a set of selections on a pair of eyes i get sparkles that are very close to the edge of the selection and they are hard to see. Is there a way to add center sparkles within the selection to the filter values and controls?

You've certainly taken this idea in a creative direction, Graechan. :bigthup

My plan is to create a more traditional style logo script, with the Create/Alpha to Logo menus, which would include the other kinds of standard text options you normally want in a logo script. It would be more similar to Bling Text Logo or Logo Toolbox, in that respect.

Just an FYI, the current plan is to remove the Create->Logos and Filters->Alpha to Logo scripts from GIMP 2.10. I'm not quite sure how I feel about that.

Well, a menu is just a menu, right? I mean unless they plan on removing/disabling scheme scripts altogether, we can just add back the scripts and menu options we want.

Why would they do this unless scheme is is not going to be as we know it now 'Sad times ahead maybe'

Nice outcomes OMG and Himppu. :paint :bigthup

I had to think a few minutes to get mine as I didn't want to get sparkles on the whole pic. hehehe ;)

I used Dinasset's script to get the pic in a night atmosphere, then applied Sparkle Animation.

Thank you Graechan, Saulgoode and Gnu Tux for such a great script!
