http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/Give away of the day is giving away a macro recorder and i am wondering if this would work with the Gimp application. The program records anything inside a Windows application so i am not sure if it will record Gimp actions.
I will try though.
Worked great as long as it didn't have to click a dialog. They need to be exactly in the same place or the program misses the button
- Notice how the macro misses the new layer create button (ok) that causes the bg layer to get the circle select instead of the new layer.
I bet if the playback was all command terminal it would work great.
Oh well - works great for most menu uses though. It did however miss the blur command button in menus and misstook the opened layer dialog for blur and clicked ok on it.
If the dialogs and window stayed exactly the same each run the macro recorder would work excellent for recording Gimp actions.
