Someone posted a thread at DPR's retouch forum for resynthesizer which got me into a quest which led to this discovery. I'm still using Resynthesizer 1.0 by the way. lololol Below's the link to the latest; any help would be appreciated. ![]() https://github.com/bootchk/resynthesize ... tag/v2.0.3 Below is a history release of the versions for the curious: https://github.com/bootchk/resynthesizer/releases |

It would certainly help if there was a definitive 2.03 version for Windows users. Even the code for that is 3 years old. https://github.com/bootchk/resynthesizer At the moment the best bet is the resynthesizer / resynthesizer-gui from the Partha Gimp 2.10.x although comparing the files from Gimp 2.10.22 to an ealier release there is no obvious change and might be 2.02 or 2.03 Still using resynthesizer v1 ? Most Windows user problems on g-f.net are because of that old version or downloading the code and expecting it to work ![]() I will attach the Partha version for anyone interested. Edit: There is a branch of the code as well, only two years old. Uses a python gui https://i.imgur.com/mso0GbL.jpg Hopefully you get those updated 2.03 files.

Thanks for that, Rich. Look forward to trying 2.02 since supposedly from 2.x, he supported multipthreading (which hopefully means faster results). As for the 1.0 version, he does link to the wayback machine version at the Registry and you still can download the plugin from that (I did a check already). ![]() edit: It is noticeably faster, Rich (not much but still faster). Again, thanks a heap. ![]() |
