This filter "quantizes" an image (the user chooses the number of colours) then fills each separated colour area with a gradient chosen randomly from a set (the user enters a "discriminant" text, used by Gimp to extract the subset of gradients wanted). The filter by default makes use of the discriminant "mandelbulb_" which determines the extraction of all gradients of the Mandelbul_nnn set present in the user's active gradients. If you do not have it and you want to try my preferred set for this filter, I attach it below. Here the filter: Attachment: Here my gradients set: (I have many others) Attachment: Here an example of outcome: Attachment: 2021-02-07 13-44-19 thomas-millot-nJTE_b347jU-unsplash, with gradients mandelbulb_ on 18 areas.jpeg [ 2.39 MiB | Viewed 3344 times ] Please remember: each gradient used is selected randomly, hence practically you will almost never get the same outcome you already got |
