The diagonal pattern follows GJL's method for creating seamless tiles. Loads of patterns on GimpLearn Seamless Pattern Link First an example of scaling a design to create a tiled effect.... An example using one of the block print type options (images from Wikipedia Commons) to create a basic Half brick tile with a transparent background: Attachment: Step1.png [ 103.71 KiB | Viewed 3055 times ] Another tile created with the seamles 'Diagonal' option... Turned out very well Lula - all your Gimping is of a very high standard.  If the first attempt doesn't work as well as you hoped, when patterned, it is worth repeating the plug-in one ot two times to see if things can be improved. Attachment: Repeating.jpg [ 211.1 KiB | Viewed 2987 times ] |

Thank you Skinnyhouse for this plugin which will be useful for me because I have always been annoyed with seamless tiles  .and thank you very much for your very detailed tuto.

Thank you Pat Level_0 and Lula. Pat: Of course the real reason for writing the plug-in was to use it for Custom Fonting purposes (as if you hadn't guessed).
