I have both GIMP 2. 10 & GIMP 2.8 installed with GMIC 1.79(I found) on 2.8 & the latest version on 2.10. I was looking through SamJ's site and I try to update both GMIC. I am looking to add old filters. Start with these, https://samjcreations.blogspot.com/2014 ... -gimp.html https://samjcreations.blogspot.com/2014 ... -gimp.html https://samjcreations.blogspot.com/2014 ... -gimp.html I found a page that has all the exe files for gimp, but is there a page that has older GMIC if I add GIMP 2.6. if I need to do this. I have got very into trying to learn this. Is there a way to add those older filters manually to the GMIC I have installed? If so, can some one walk me through it? If not, would an older version of GIMP & GMIC work, and where could I find an older version of GMIC if needed? Thank you in advance. |

These filters are still in the latest version. One only changed the name (from French to 'required' English) From this: Testing > Samj > Rendering > Cercles_Qui_Tournent on this one: Testing > Samj > Rendering > Rotating Circles The presets on the pages You provided are almost 8 years old - since then, the syntax and the number of parameters have changed. You can test the preset by comparing (pasted in the Custom Code with the copied current setting). For example, one parameter came for samj_Cercles_Qui_Tournent: Code: Select all -samj_Cercles_Qui_Tournent 800,0,0,0,255,0,1,0.5,0.33,7,17,1,0.5,0.33,11,17,0,4886,255,192,0,255,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0.5,0.5,1.8,0,0 I leave the fun with Chrysodes for You. ![]() ![]()
