Quick start instructions for Splitter:

1. Create a work folder and put a copy of your custom font in the folder.

2. Fire up Gimp, open the custom font file and call up the Splitter plug-in.

3. Use the default settings and click 'OK'.

The original file will now be in two parts in the work folder.
The file in Gimp will now contain half the original number of layers (any paths in the original file will be preserved) plus one extra temporary layer.

You can now uipload these files (compress them first if necessary).

Quick start instructions for Stitcher:

Assuming that you have downloaded files and that you have placed them in a folder.

1. Open the parent file from the folder i.e. the file that does not end with a numeric suffix with an underscore followed by a number such as '_1'

2. Call up the stitcher plug-in and click on 'OK'.

The custom font file should now contain all the original character layers with any temporary layers removed.
