This tool is NOT an amazing AI background remover, but it can remove backgrounds from simple color images.
Select the eye dropper on the color you want to remove and adjust its sliders parameters. Then manually put a layer mask on a duplicate layer above and fill in the mistakes or missed areas. You can obviously also erase mistaken areas.
Think of this plugin as a superior color to alpha. It will aid in removing backgrounds and has a special mode for removing backgrounds with hair and whiskers.
