Thank you very much Graechan, that is a very nice shiny look.

I haven't looked yet Lorri, but I think you will find in under Tom Keil's in GMIC...Read the text in with your downloaded script.

Hmmm, that is strange, did you go to File > CREATE > Logos? If so, I am stumped, someone else might know why you don't have the logo list.

Groovy, Graechen. I will definitely put this through the wringer. Got a quick question. When I use the 3d option, I get some blacked out areas in the result, regardless of the settings. This usually happens in script-type font. Can this be corrected or is it just a quirk from using script-type font?

I did some too with a black background, they only showed up when I put a lighter bg in. I just blamed it on the contrast between the foreground and background.

Excellent script, Graechen!

Nixnine the 3d-Extusion Filter from GMIC does not perform well with narrow lines e.g. most script fonts.
If your font doesn't work, try the newer version of Metallica below.

after reading the read-me, I deduce that this script is not for mac users? Also, anyone know if there is a new updated gmic version for mac? My version doesn't allow me to get all the updated and added filters.
