I just had a look at, "Gimp Path Tools by Ofnuts". I was not only impressed by the tools but how well done the website was. It should be a template for other plugin and script developers.

Thanks for the appreciation...

PS: Actually my biggest worry about that site is who the heck are the 78 people who downloaded path-csv? Because that is the ultimately nerdy script, I sort of wrote it for the challenge after an exchange on UbuntuForums but never expected it to be really useful to anyone.

This script fixes a incorrect behavior in Gimp. When using "stroke" fonts (such as those available here) Gimp "closes" all the strokes (perhaps to be able to "fill" the characters), producing extra line segments. Unfortunately the strokes remain closed even in a "Path from text"
http://gimp-path-tools.sourceforge.net/tools.shtml

Check the "available here" link I think it's not right.

Anyone here suffering from script withdrawal or what? I just wrote this because I'm frustrated by the standard issue Tools/Arrow script when I want to show things on images (this is the last images where I did the arrow heads by hand):

Anyone know where I can find arrow heads plug-in, It says it is in my plug-in browser that it should be in python-fu-arrow-heads Vectors > decorate. I can't find them in any of those.

This assumes you have Python support installed (if so you should also have Filters/Render/Clouds/Fog)

I knew I had decorate but it has been so long since I used it I forgot where it was.

I'm finally back home and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to make the script work. I see it's in a menu called <vectors> and in decorate (it's in a right-click path menu) and see arrow heads I look at the dialog examples and I don't know how to get from here to there. :(
