 Post subject: Correct location for plug-in icons and additional files...

My plug-in, Gimp Book, includes a two additional folders, locale and icons, that I put in the plug-ins folder alongside it. When I start Gimp from the terminal it always complains about these two.

Failed to execute child process "/home/ragtag/.gimp-2.8/plug-ins/icons" (Permission denied)
Failed to execute child process "/home/ragtag/.gimp-2.8/plug-ins/locale" (Permission denied)


The plug-in works fine, but it's just a bit annoying. Is there a better place to put them, or should I just live with it?

You can live with it. You may file a bug report because obviously Gimp thinks that anything with the execute flag set is an executable file...
