Nice plugin: #4 I do not often use frames but for those linux users there is hope

In an additional effect "PATTERN FILL:
- two directions will be filled,
- resignation from pattern desaturation for the possibility of using Bump Map.

Changes:
- bordering selection (all=ctr+A or free select)
- color border selection: Avarage Color, Foreground Color, Background Color, Black, White, Active Pattern.

Avarage Color (of course :yes ) by Tin Tran based on "Fill Average Color Script for GIMP to aid in doing Polygon Art"

New very experimental option: IRREGULARLY SHAPED FRAME (from selection).

Suggested gradient selection type:SHAPEBURST, and a Neon plugin (can be omitted when not satisfied with the effect).
Depending on the selection of or parameters, I am sometimes surprised by the result - so it's probably time for the end of the fun with frames, although there is still one more typical solution ...

This plugin was given a "second life" to apply the fourfold rotation of the pattern by Teapot described.
What came out of it - I invite you to try it here.
