Nice one! :bigthup
Can't wait to give it a try, maybe I'll make a "Wallace" logo or some of my signature buttons that I like so much. Thanks!

Thanks everyone. I'm getting closer to the release of V2.0 :bigthup

Some really cool results can be had by playing around with the layer mode of the extrusion overlay and tweaking the colors of the other layers.

I've added a full text dialog to the File/Create/Logo section, which does take up real estate on the screen but I wanted the option to have more than just one line of text to work with.

A good way to use the script is to run from the File/Create/Logo, enter the text style and extrusion depth and let it create a working image, Ctrl-z to undo and you have a nice template to work with. Then, run from Filters/Alpha to Logo. Even on smaller resolution displays, you should be able to see all the available options from there. You can then test by using Ctrl-z, Ctrl-f (or Shft-Ctrl-f) to quickly try out new settings.

Thanks Tux. Looks like you are having a lot of fun with this. I had better get at it and see what I can make it do.

Yes. I'm having lots of fun with this one, Molly. There are just so many possible combinations that I try this and then try that, just to see what pops out next. :hehe

Thanks K1 & thanks for the fonts, Molly.

Here's a result of a "bumped" extrusion pattern overlay, which gives more height to the pattern.

Graechan,

You need to select Fill Method "Active pattern" & "Extrude Active Pattern Overlay" in the Misc Effects dropdown, which creates a "overlay mode" pattern layer that sits on top of the extruded layer. You can change the layer mode of the pattern layer to get some interesting results. Note that it uses the same "active" pattern used by the fill layer and not the "effects" pattern.

Thanks for the info (I'm sure you have probably already posted it before), and the update to play with
