Thank you, RMDesigns! I enjoyed doing your tut. It has taught me a few things, and reminded me of a few things that I forgot about animation.

I changed my result as I saw my text ran whitewater. :hehe

now it is much softer.

Is there any new cool fonts for sparkling Bling Blings out there.

Entangle and Janda Sparklend dont work for me. Patriot and Moonstar work perfect.

Lurifax: Not sure what you are looking for or what you already have. Did you try searching through www.dafont.com? It really has a load of different fonts free. You would probably find what you like there.

Lurifax, I'm so sorry, I didn't even see your post. The font I used is called Alba Matter and may be downloaded for free at 1001 Fonts.

I want the only the star flash - not the whole picture .
What am I doing wrong?

I'm currently using Fedora 31 (MATE) /w GIMP 2.10.12 (Not sure what's up with 2.10.14).

Great to see you GnuTux, glad you are doing better!

Testing this script for the first time, I realized I needed the patterns to go with it. I used the WayBack Machine to retrieve them and will post them here for anyone else wanting them.
