Prior post was 2015 for Gimp 2.8 It really needs updating & compiling for Windows Gimp 2.10 - Anyone - Is there one out there? (shame you do not use linux I have a very nice 64 bit linux deskew ) Providing you are using the regular Gimp 2.10.24 from gimp.org. Get the MareroQ 32 bit Windows version. download/file.php?id=15641 Remove what you have installed and put the single file deskew.exe in your plugins folder. C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins As this example: https://i.imgur.com/vNhqf23.mp4 Is this for use in some other plug-in/script ? Maybe the divide-scanned-images script. Otherwise, for a single image the Gimp 2.10 measure tool will straighten an image. |

Excellent! Thanks for the quick response and solution. Works just fine using the 32-bit plugin. I'm a Linux (Debian) user but only from the the command line. I've recently started using a bunch of cross-platform apps to re-create vintage printed circuit boards - GIMP, Inkscape and KiCad - and so I've been thinking about converting to a Linux desktop but I'm a geezer and hate to waste the cycles driving a GUI. When I need to, I just hold my nose and use Windows but the release of Win11 may be the end. What desktop do you use? |

Hi there. It's a very nice plugin, thanks! I use it a lot to straighten scanned documents. However, it's not working for Windows 10 (Pro 20H2 19042.1288) and GIMP 2.10.28. It says (translated): couldn't find entry point for procedure _ZdaPv in the dynamic linked library <path>\deskew.exe, where <path> is where the plugin is installed. |

Same as an earlier post, remove the 64 bit version of deskew and use the 32 bit version, as from viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11326#p153016 Just checked again, Win10 (VM) and Gimp 2.10.28 - error message for 64 bit version, 32 bit version ok. |

Oh, sorry, I didn't read the whole topic and I had Googled for "ZdaPv" and found nothing so I assumed I was the first one to report this issue. Thanks, it works! |
