I am still having fun with efp, so far no bugs in sight, not even Molly could break it :yes
But I wish someone could take FreeType and convert to Multi-line text, as to why gimp discarded a perfectly good Plugin I don't know

I would do that but I don't know how and I would only break it.
What is this... FreeType and convert to Multi-line text

FreeType is a old Gimp Plugin that is no longer used or supported, it still works fine but doesn't allow Multi-Line text.
I do not know if a Linux compile is available but the source code is in the link I posted

I just tried the butterflies with a cap. Would be nice if we could change the opacity of that. Or is there a way to do it that I haven't picked up yet?
It's really not that hard to select colours of brushes or pictures and then selections to paths.
Oh btw the butterflies are dingbats.

I worked out how to change the opacity. Simple thing that I hadn't looked at before.

rbdflyboy you need an active path before running script, check your path dialogue
Image
1/ create your text layer
2/ right click on the text layer in the layers dialogue and select Text to Path
3/ run the script

Sallyanne Script painting is a lot of fun
