This one has been already posted in GL, but -because I think not all the GC users go to GL- probably it's a good decision to post it also here: NuancedLevels From time to time I like to apply a nuance to a picture, by giving more emphasis to one or two of the RGB colours. It's easy to perform, manually. But, you know, I'm lazy and I don't like to repeat manually even easy steps. Hence... Attachment:

Still playing with "Evidence of selected Area" filter. I also figured out how to set TT hardbevel as default. Cool effect that I will use more often. Attachment: HD_rust.jpg [ 874.66 KiB | Viewed 4441 times ] |

Another small but sometimes useful ancillary filter, which tries to enhance a bit the skin areas of an image. Also this one has been already posted under GL, so here is for GC users. Nothing magic, but sometimes interesting. Attachment: Please, select the skin areas before running it, to avoid not-skin areas having skin-similar colours to be modified. |

This one has been inspired by an old Photoshop Plug-in - now I can't remember the name - probably it's a good decision to have this function also directly on Gimp (maybe it's already there somewhere, IDK). RotatingRGBColours From time to time it could be funny to switch among the basic R,G,B colours. Hence... Attachment:

Thanks Pat. It's one of my long-lasting areas of interest, and I'm very often happy with some of the possible results. Glad you like it too. |

Diego - wow, those nuanced roses are so beautiful; I will have to have a play with your filter, perhaps with some local flora. Pat - ditto re the butterfly; love these outcomes |

thowans wrote: Oh Lord! I've seen so many wonderful works! I wish I could do something as beutiful someday If your comment is related to the underlying original pictures, I agree with you: in general they are free pictures found thru internet (the original name is kept in the name of my processed images). If on the contrary is related to the processed outcomes, what restrains you from installing/trying these small filters? They do not require any special system configuration. |

(OMG: the Roses were not "nuanced" but with "rotated" colours, just in case...) |
