Love the results here. Teapot has me wondering about having two
First try didnt work but i will try again later ..
Here is my try with the plug-in and then realized that the light would
reflect a bit off the yellow of the rotated coin, so i added some reflected light
back to the inner shadow .. looks a bit 'smokey'.

i also moved a 'bubble' to use where the light comes through the hole
in the coin and added just a little blur

So much fun! but have to go for now ..

Pocholo, Using "Reset All Filters" every time I want to use the plugin would get a bit tiresome. Is there another solution for this problem? Also, how can brushes that users already have, be resized to fit inside the marble? Also, I think there should be a flatten image option. That way users can continue using the plugin on the same size canvas if they wanted to.

I used the fixed version of the plugin and the plugin still only runs once. Also, not all brushes that users have will fit into the dimensions of the glass ball.

An example would be this:

As you can see, the dropbox logo brush doesn't fit into the glass marble.

Hi Mackenzie. Give me a day and I will tend to your request.

Hi Mackenzie. Please download version 2 and try it. Let me know how it works, thanks.

Pocholo,

I have tested version 2. It works. I still think that no matter how large the canvas is, more than one marble should be able to fit. There should also be a flatten image option once the plugin finishes generating the layers.

The text size doesn't do much for me. I tried that option, I didn't see much change.

Here's an example with the default size:

@Mackenzie; The reason I left the all the layer without merging them, is that some users like it like that so they can be able to modify at their own like. In version 3 I added an option for merging all layers. Sorry about the typo "Text size" it should it be "Brush size" (Fixed). I also reduce the size of the brush to 400 px and you should be able to change it up to 550 px.
:)

Pocholo, that makes sense. :) When in the plugin and you click on "Active Brush" option it does nothing. Is that supposed to happen even though we know to choose the brush before running the plugin? The plugin still doesn't allow for the creating of marbles on the same canvas. Other than that, the plugin works as expected.

It's only to tell you that the, "ACTIVE BRUSH" will be selected once you manually pick the brush you select before running the plugin. I created the plugin to create a new image, not to added to an open canvas. I hope that answered your questions.

It answers my questions. Is there a way for the plugin to do both? Create a new image and have the option to have the marble be added to an open canvas if the user wanted that? An example would be teapot's post #16.

No, it cannot do both. What he did, he run the plugin twice and copy and pasted one of the marble to the other canvas. No biggie.

I tried what you said teapot did and it looks like more than just a copy and paste job. For some reason when I say Yes to merge all layers, on the plugin the layers are still visible and not merged when the plugin finishes running.

This is what I mean:

I don't think you understood what I wrote for the changes in version 3.
Version 3
1. Added an option to merge all layer's effects into one layer

I did not Flatten the imagen, you will end up with the Effect Image layer and the Background layer.
Now if you don't want the background just delete it

A little late, because Christmas is just around the corner. I used the Pocholo create a glass marble plug-in to make the transparent Christmas ball. Anyone have a suggestion to make it more beautiful?
Merry Christmas!
