Thanks Leftyleo, I applied the plug-in twice (each time with a different pattern) and copy paste. Just as you said. :hi5

Don’t be afraid to start over. It’s a new chance to rebuild what you want.

Thank you Pocholo ! I hope my posts were helpful and not rude or pushy in anyway .
I was just experimenting with the patterns on the ornaments and trying to use a different .gbr
which was only a green version of your white fir branch.

Great job.

It's OK leftyleo, sometime I feel it's me that overreact to what others write to me. For that reason I apology.

Make the stem of the fir brown again. Here's a quick try using Pocholo's original fir brush but made green. A png of the fir is below, if you want to use it needs to be a brush with the name your version of the script is expecting.

Thank you TeaPot that worked :yes
I dont know why making the stem brown made any difference. That seems strange.
The help is always appreciated.

Have a look in the Christmas berries section of the script, it uses select by colour:
pdb.gimp_image_select_color(img, CHANNEL_OP_REPLACE, twigs1Layer, (81, 46, 8))
That's a twiggy brown colour :)

--Ah, that would make sense because the twig layer is there and stops right between that and the berries :)
i need to study this code. It looks long but the effect does not look over complicated.
Thank you :bigthup
