Graechan using just one layer with text and alpha channel worked but my color selection was ignored.

I think i know what happened. These brushes are not grayscale.

Is there a way to make the script ignore default colors or turn them off for NON grayscale brushes?

Thanks Warrior, did you have any problem with the instructions,

Not really. I made a mask. I thought it would fill the transparent portion, but it filled the background. I just reversed it, and ran it again.

The script only sets the f/g color before applying the brush this should only affect grayscale brushes, so to apply greyscale brush without color,
set color for that brush to black, non greyscale brushes should retain there native color

Rod could you attach the brush for me to look at

I opened the ABR as images and they are grayscale.

Could you add the option for ABR format?

Rod I have converted your ABR file to PNG images, just modify to your liking and change to brushes

These are the correct ones Graechan.

Okay so if i change the ABR files to regular Gimp brushes they will work.
So there is no way to add ABR support for the script?

Rod I do not know why ABR brushes are not working unless it's a bug in gimp, if the brush can be seen by the brush selector it should work

I think i figured out the problem. These are partially transparent brushes and color isn't working with them.
I had to open each one as a image, alpha to select it and add a white bg and flatten. Then save as grayscale.
Then paste as brush. :lol Still didn't work as alpha to select selected partial areas of the brush. No way to fix i guess.
I don't understand why the color isn't getting picked up other than that. ABR brushes work fine in pack sprites with GMIC though. :)
Graechan maybe a addition to the script to use current brush at 3 sizes? You could only use one brush but that may work.

I scripted it to work with all gimp brushes, it was only the ABR ones I forgot about (that's my story and I'm sticking to it) :hehe

Rod did you download Rel2 again as the original Rel2 had a typo that prevented the f/g selector from working, and if your using brush2 or 3 you will have to set their colors as well

I will download and try again in a second. Meanwhile i fixed the brush set as individual GBR files and they work very well. :)
