Carlos 1. on the top left click right on SAMPLE GROUP 2. click ADD FOLDER 3. Browse for the folder & OK well, if you click F1 key or HELP in the menu, maybe you can find better info than mine! |

I have been working with Molly to help her get her font management working. She has a great idea to be able to filter the fonts using ofnuts addoncollectionmanager, but there is a small problem with this approach. There really is no way to keep the system fonts out of the filter so you can select *just* from the fonts you want. Currently, the only real way to limit the fonts is by bold or italic. I think this script would really benefit by being able to really hone in on only the fonts you want. I mentioned this before by requesting a way to actually choose a font folder as a filter, but I was only really thinking about ways to add more fonts to selection, not the fact of removing the fonts you didn't want. Maybe there is a better approach, or something I missed, but I'd love to see a way to refine the font selection beyond just bold or italic. I think select by folder/s would be the best way, but if there was an option to ignore system fonts and only select from fonts in the .gimp-2.8/fonts folder, it would be a step in the right direction. This is just a fantastic script. and would love to see it have more control over font filtering options. Cheers |

Great Akovia. I am very hopeful that this can be achieved. Having to open all the system fonts along with your chosen ones is a nuisance. Yes it is a great script and I have certainly enjoyed how it works with the brushes. I haven't tried it on gradients or patterns yet because I would find them too hard to sort into categories. |

I am just reading how to use this script and did a few basic trials. Is there a selection to right, left, or center justification of text? or did I miss it somewhere? |

The original script uses the old gmic-gimp-gtk plugin. Much changed since then It is gmic-gimp-qt and changes in syntax. I am no coder, so not a wonderful update. for example the script is a bit flaky with palette selections. The gmic cube option should now work, colours not great but can be tweaked. You can still get snapshots using the internet archive site. https://web.archive.org/web/20171010084 ... ripts.com/ ...but it tends to be slow, not easy to navigate, less than wonderful and truthfully those old scripts are for Gimp 2.8 or earlier, not guaranteed to work with Gimp 2.10. You are better off asking here, someone will know an update or an alternative and always check with the new www.gimpscipts.net |
