Thanks Drac. I don't know what kind of fish it is, image doesn't say but you may very well be correct.

I just realized something; Graechan doesn't like triangles. :)

Got the fish from O's link above.

Drop menu doesn't give the triangle mosaic option PC; did this one manually. :)

Looks like you can make pretty cool snake scales with this one too. Cool stuff and again thanks Graechan. :)

Interesting idea, Lyle. Now, how to make this into a snake.

Just added Triangles and fixed another bug to prevent the script from merging all the layers of a Image instead of just merging the layers created.

Not having good luck with the triangles. The grout color collects at the triangle points.

That was the reason I didn't include Triangles. I could not get them to work either. Maybe I should take them out of the menu again.

No problem. We'll just get Ofnuts to write a "mosaic to path" script or maybe "snake to path"? LOL

Draconian Safari-2.6 allready does this. I hope that I have finished with cobblestone mosaic , but it sounds like an interesting use for the script.

Increasing the spacing between tiles does help. Still, I did add some Fractal Trace and filled the center with some of the surrounding triangles and stuff for this one. I would like to keep the triangles Graechan; the option, I don't believe, will hurt things. :)

Lyle i have removed triangles as it is to glitchy, but if you wish to keep on your version just open script in editor and go to the bottem of the file and change.

SF-OPTION     "Tile-Type" '("SQUARES" " HEXAGONS" "OCTAGONS")

To this

SF-OPTION     "Tile-Type" '("SQUARES" " HEXAGONS" "OCTAGONS" "TRIANGLES")

Are you kidding! Safari is good for what it does but it doesn't hold a candle to the kind of quality your script can produce. I thought your attempt at snake skin was way more realistic than just the limited Mosaic pattern in Safari. Yours is mo shiny and looks more like real scales, and you know how I like shiny. :bigthup :clap :jumpclap ;)

I have an idea!
How about adding polygons to the list and be able to use a path/selection as the mosaic tile?
Example - you could create a new layer and create a selection or path. Then run the script after selecting a drop down path or selection layer for the script to use. :)
