Hi,

Some carpets can also be hung on the walls. Moreover, such things show their features well in full stretched form, I think and I see in carpet and rugs selling websites.

The Border on the circular rug seems out or proportion to me at least. I would be more interested in 'how to create such thing'.

Thanks.

Both were created with the same initial image -

I think this is what I did
Islamic designs - 1 & 2. Both had the path extrude script run on them and then merged together.
I then ran the G'MIC filter anguish. Then the G'MIC filter mirror array

On the round one I ran G'MIC Annular Steiner Chain round tiles. Then on another layer (transparent) after getting the selection for the edge I stroked the selection.

The square one I only used about a quarter of the initial image (because of size) and used Ofnuts' straight symmetry and quadrilateral symmetry, selected the outside, added another transparent layer to the top and stroked with a different brush.

Does anyone still use these plugins? I'm curious.
