I probably have Mucilage too! Pretty easy stuff to work with as well.

I thought this was a joke until I tried it myself. All the months come up as 31 days.

When I use the yearly calendar by itself, it works fine. But when I use the Platonic version all months have 31 days.

I'm trying to get the old version back, temporarily. Running a data recovery program on my hard drive to find the last one.

History of all versions (one of the reasons I switched to using Fossil and Chiselapp).

I will investigate where I screwed up.

I have tracked down the error and fixed it (he said hopefully).

On the light colored one it is full of scotch tape on the outside. On the yellowy one I used a manilla folder to print on and I put it all together with white school glue, small utility knife for scoring, needle nose pliers to hold the flaps together, and the whole thingy was glued on the inside. Oh yeah, I used a toothpick to put the glue on the flaps.

Thank you for sharing your photo, molly. It is really neat to see the final results.

I have produced an updated version with a couple of small changes. First, I have fixed a minor bug and the facet image's UNDO history is no longer affected (it does not make sense to have to UNDO stuff just because my script is copying some layers). Second, I have decided that it would be more useful if the text layers were merged into one layer and the facet layers merged into another, rather than producing 24 different layers. If you wish to treat each side separately (for example, a different color text for each facet) then you will need to use the paths that are created to select each side. (It seemed less likely that someone would want to do this compared to more common operations such as outlining the text.)

Here is the link to the webpage: http://chiselapp.com/user/saulgoode/repository/script-fu/wiki?name=sg-platonic-calendar.

And here is a calendar I created using the script in conjunction with Map Object applied (multiple times) to a mercator image from NASA.

An engineer with a lack of artistic creativity? I think not! I love the globe idea, Saul, that's brilliant!
