I'm not creating the mosaic shapes, the plug-in mosaic does that. It was becouse the plug-ins triangular shape was so poor that I omitted it from the menu.

That is really cool Greg. I want to know how to use this script but it doesn't seem to work right for me. BTW, when I saw your avatar, I thought it was my eyes, I had to take a double take because I had eye surgery two weeks ago in the one eye so things are blurry with two eyes different. I thought my progress was reversing lol |

Hi Graechan, Recently (today) seeing a post from Denzjos at https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Effec ... 8#pid20608 I became aware of this script. I downloaded it on the page http://www.gimpchat.de/pflasterstein-mo ... von-diego/ (provided by Denzjos on the same topic). But on my Gimp 2.10.21 with G'MIC 2.9.2 # pre200626 the script generated an error: Cobblestone Mosaic-2.6 Warning Error while executing script-fu-cobblestone-mosaic: Error: eval: unbound variable: plug-in-gmic GIMP Warning 'Cobblestone Mosaic-2.6' plug-in left image undo in inconsistent state, closing open undo groups. Would it be incompatible with version 2.10? Would it be possible to update this script? Thank you in advance! |

The site says: Publiziert am 27. Januar 2017 von Hardy at that time plug-in-gmic was OK. Now there is a need to update to the new Gmic (plug-in-gmic-qt). Also, the script is "von Graechan", not "von Diego" (that German site is often wrong in the attribution of the authors) edit: send a PM to Graechan asking whether he has time to update it (it does a lot of updates currently on his old scripts, maybe he has already the updated version) |

In the meantime, try this version which I did for personal tests (changed defaults) Attachment: a sample of outcome (using my defaults in the above version) Attachment: woman-837156_1920_GRAECHAN-COBBLESTONE.jpg [ 581.99 KiB | Viewed 2171 times ] Warning: it does not produce what the original script produced, both because of different defaults and because of different gimp filters behavior). Better to wait for a Graechan update. Use it only for a try |

There is really no need for this script. The latest Gimp already includes a similar filter in "Filters > Distorts > Mosaic. Attachment: mosaic.jpg [ 523.29 KiB | Viewed 2162 times ] |
